Scheduling the reports will help you to generate recurring reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis in a CSV or PDF format over emails.

Scheduling a report

To schedule a report, follow the given steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.

  • Go to Analytics and click on the Canned or Custom report you want to schedule.

  • Click on the Schedule icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.

  • Click on +New Report Scheduler button.

  • Select CSV or PDF as a report format from the drop-down menu.

  • Scheduler: Select whether you want to schedule the report daily, weekly, or monthly. Here, the selection is applicable for a particular date, day of the week, or month.

  • Scheduler Start: Provide the start date of the scheduler.

  • Scheduler Time: Provide a specific time for scheduling the report. Here you can tick the ‘Any’ checkbox in case of available time.

  • Recipient Email: Provide the email address of the person to whom scheduled reports must be sent.

  • Make sure to tick the 'Active' checkbox.

  • Click on the Save button.

Updating a scheduled report

To update a scheduled report, follow the below-recommended steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.
  • Go to Analytics and click on the Scheduler icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • You will be greeted with the screen with all the scheduled reports.
  • Click on the report you want to update and modify the parameters.
  • Click on Update.

Viewing Consolidated Reports

All scheduled reports can be viewed under the Scheduler option. This helps to keep a record of all the scheduled reports in Sectona, hence providing information such as Report Name, Scheduled By, Scheduler Type, Status, and an Action button to View Trail.

To view consolidated reports on Sectona, follow the given steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.

  • Go to Analytics and click on the Scheduler icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.

  • You will be greeted with a screen with all the scheduled reports listed.

Deleting a scheduled report

To delete a scheduled report, follow the below-recommended steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.
  • Go to Analytics and click on the Scheduler icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • You will be greeted with the screen with all the scheduled reports.
  • Click on the report you want to delete.
  • Click on the Delete button and select Yes to confirm.
