Working with account groups
Sectona PAM provides a grouping of accounts to facilitate policy management and individual account level or group of accounts. Group memberships can be used to assign common permissions to a certain group of accounts. Choosing the type of group is an important step in planning for using account groups.
Choose this option when you want to provide specific accounts to be part of certain groups. For example, mapping all administrator accounts of Oracle databases.
Such groups are recommended to manage dynamic account environments. A group could be designed for the operations team wherein all accounts with certain privileges must be available to a specific team (user groups).
Attributes can be based on Account Type, Account Name, Account Authentication type, Account Category , Hostname, IP Address, Asset Type, Location and Tag.
