Managing access to assets & passwords via Active Mapping

In order to gain access to an asset there should be appropriate mapping between user groups and asset groups. Active Mapping defines which group of users get access to which group of assets.. To assign the access of a particular asset to a user follow the given steps:

• Login to the system and select EPM from the product navigator.

• Go to Policies → Active mapping → +New Active Mapping

• Provide the Name and Description (optional) to the active mapping

• Select the user group(s) you would like to link with asset group(s). Doing so will allow users to access the asset available in the respective asset group

• All Active mapping is by default active when created

• Click on the Save button to save the configuration
