SSH keys are used for accessing a Linux/Unix asset without entering a password. SSH keys are more secure than traditional passwords. The private key is also encrypted with a password to hide its contents. You can add an SSH key authenticated account as follows.
- Click on the action button of the desired LINUX/UNIX asset → Manage Linked Accounts → Add New Account.
- In the Add Account form, set Authentication Type → Key Based (the key should be RSA encrypted).
- Fill in the details.
- Upload your private key in the Key field and enter your Passphrase in the respective section.
- Click on Save.
