Accessing Satellite Vault

To login to Satellite Vault, the user will require a Security Key generated from the User Profile. To login successfully, it is essential for the administrator to sync the users' profiles with the accounts. Users must download the Security Key only after the sync is complete . To login, the user simply needs to upload the key on Satellite Vault.

Any changes made in the Account Groups after the sync operation will not be reflected in Satellite Vault. In this case, the user will need to generate a new Security key to login after the recent sync is complete.

It is important to note that downloading a security key and generating a new key is not the same. A security key is downloaded when logging in for the first time, whereas a new key is generated when the user seeks to update their Satellite Vault profile.

Follow the below-recommended steps to login to the Satellite Vault:

  • Verify if the Satellite Vault service is running. You can start the service by selecting Platform Configuration from the product navigator → System Status → App Services → SatelliteVaultService
  • Go to User Profile → Settings → Download.

  • If you want to generate a new key, click on Generate New and an XML file will be downloaded.

  • Upload this file to the Satellite Vault by entering the host URL along with the port number (https://12.34.5.67:4432) and click on upload and sign in.
