Installing Sectona Client App

Sectona Client App for Windows is an easy-to-install software that provides access to Windows RDP and SSH Access from a remote client device. You can use the client app for both Windows and Unix based workstations. 

This App provides users the ability to bypass authentication via web portal and directly access assets in a multi-tabbed environment. Sectona Client App also supports multi-factor authentication for users. Sectona Client App communicates with Sectona Web Access component via ports 1080, 22 and 22389.

Before You Begin

• Ensure you have administrator rights on the client machine

• Your network administrator has enabled the required port for communication with Sectona Web Access.

Installing Sectona Client App on Windows Workstations

Click on your username, go to Settings and then navigate to Download Utilities. Click on Sectona Client to download the Sectona.client.vault.zip file.

Extract the downloaded zip file. Run the executable file named "Sectona.client.vault". On the Configure Server page, enter the Sectona PAM server IP address. Click on Connect.

On the Authentication page, enter the username and password. Click on Login.

You will be redirected to a page where you can take a session of other assets available in the respective instance.
