Configure Active Mapping using 'All Account' option
Sectona PAM's Active mapping feature lets you define precise policies for access in quick simple steps. You can define just how much access you want your User Groups to have. You can choose a User Group and map them to a Account Group, using "All Account" option, under Active Mapping. This means that all the Users in the selected User Group will have access to all the accounts in the selected Account Group.
Procedure:
To link multiple User Groups with multiple Account Groups:
(All the Users in the User groups will be able to access all the accounts in the selected Account Groups.)
- Login to the system and select PAM from the product navigator.
- Go to Policies → Mapping → Active Mapping → New Active Mapping → Fill up the Name and Description.
- Under User Groups, select the desired User groups. On the other side, under Account Groups, select the desired Account groups.
- Select a Mapping mode with either Permanent or schedule-based options.
- Select the 'All Accounts' option.
- Click on Save.
To link a single User Group with multiple Account Groups:
(All the Users in the User group will be able to access all the accounts in the selected Account Groups.)
- Go to Policies → Mapping → Active Mapping → New Active Mapping → Fill up the Name and Description
- Under User Groups, select a single User group. On the other side, under Account Groups, select the desired Account groups.
- Select the 'All Accounts' option.
- Click on Save.
