Create Oracle database account manually

An Oracle database account lets you access the linked Oracle asset. There are two ways to add an Oracle database account manually i.e. by using Asset management or by using Account management. Both methods are described below. You can add an account by choosing either of the methods.


Using Asset Management:

  1. Go to Manage → Asset Management → Click on the account icon corresponding to the Oracle asset you want to add an account to.
  2. Click on Add Account.
  3. Fill in the details.
  4. Click on Save.
  5. If you want to add this account to a group, click on Save+Manage Groups
  6. If you want to add another account, click on Save+New.

Using Account Management:

  1. Go to Manage → Accounts → Add Account.
  2. Choose Asset Category as "Database Asset" and Type as "Oracle".
  3. Select the Asset you want to create an account for. Click on Add Account.
  4. Fill in the details.
  5. Click on save.
