Delete video records permanently
You can delete your old video recordings if they are no longer useful. A certain age can be defined beyond which videos older than that will be permanently deleted.
Procedure:
- Login to the system and select Platform Configuration from the product navigator.
- Go to System → System status → App Services → SystemLogManagementService. Click on Start if it's not already active.
- Go to General Configuration → Video Recording → Enable the Auto Archival option checkbox.
- Under the Archival section, enter Archival Older Than = <desired no. of days>.
- Select the "Delete Permanently" option.
- Click on Save.
To keep System Log Management Service active go to System → System default → AutoStart AppService- SystemLogManagement → Change the configuration value to 1 → Click on Save.
