Performing a scan for AD assets
You can run a Discovery job for discovering assets belonging to a specific Directory. The directory should have already been integrated with Sectona. You can browse for groups on this directory wherein the desired assets lie. The discovered assets can be onboarded automatically, if you choose to do so. All the discovered assets will be listed under Discovery View.
Procedure:
- Login to the system and select PAM from the product navigator.
- Go to Manage → Discovery → Asset Discovery.
- Select Add New Discovery Job → Active Directory.
- Enter a Job Title and specify the Directory.
- Browse for the group whose assets you want to discover.
- If you want to onboard the assets, select Yes.
- If you want to run the job immediately, click on Save+ Run Now.
- If you want to save the job for later, click on Save.
