Sectona Notification Service allows you to send notifications via PAM. It also includes an auto-generated notification that is created by the system. Having a pre-defined and out-of-the-box feature of notification template for multiple system changes is also one of its significance.

Sectona Notification Service sends notifications when an important event occurs. For example, if an organization wants to have alert 10 days before their license expires, the PAM generates an email as an alert to notify that the license will get expire in the next 10 days.   • Notification engine provides alert when a backup is configured and initiated. An email for completion of backup restore is also sent via Sectona Notification Service.
  • In case of 'Login failed' notification, the notification engine sends email notification to the respective user whose login has failed in addition to the email configured in the notification rule.
  • Addition or modifications made in password or rotation policy is also notified through the email configured in the respective notification policy.
