Scheduling the reports will help you to generate recurring reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis in a CSV or PDF format over emails.

Scheduling a report

To schedule a report, follow the given steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.

  • Go to Analytics and click on the Canned or Custom report you want to schedule.

  • Click on the Schedule icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.

  • Click on +New Report Scheduler button.

  • Select CSV or PDF as a report format from the drop-down menu.

  • Scheduler: Select whether you want to schedule the report for a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Here the selection is applicable for a particular date, a particular day of the week or for a particular month

  • Scheduler Start: Provide the start date of the scheduler.

  • Scheduler Time: Provide a specific time for scheduling the report. Here you can tick the ‘Any’ checkbox in case of general time.

  • Recipient Email: Provide the email address of the person to whom scheduled reports must be sent.

  • Make sure to tick the 'Active' checkbox.

  • Click on the Save button.

Updating a scheduled report

To update a scheduled report, follow the below-recommended steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.
  • Go to Analytics and click on the Scheduler icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • You will be greeted with the screen with all the scheduled reports listed.
  • Click on the report you want to update and modify the parameters.
  • Click on Update.

Viewing Consolidated Reports

All scheduled reports can be viewed under the Scheduler option. This helps to keep a record of all the scheduled reports in Sectona , hence providing the information such as Report Name, Scheduled By, Scheduler Type, Status and an Action button to View Trail.

To view consolidated reports on Sectona, follow the given steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.

  • Go to Analytics and click on the Scheduler icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.

  • You will be greeted with the screen with all the scheduled reports listed.

Deleting a scheduled report

To delete a scheduled report, follow the below-recommended steps:

  • Login to Sectona as an administrator.
  • Go to Analytics and click on the Scheduler icon placed at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • You will be greeted with the screen with all the scheduled reports listed.
  • Click on the report you want to delete.
  • Click on the Delete button and select Yes to confirm.
