How to add a VMware ESXi/ESX account manually?

VMware provides cloud computing and platform virtualization software and services. Sectona supports VMware ESXi/ESX. To add an account manually for a VMware asset, follow the procedure below:

Procedure:

1. Login to the system and select PAM from the product navigator.
2. Go to Manage → Asset Management → Add new asset.
3. Select Asset category → Operating system, Asset type → Unix Based,  Asset version → VMware ESX/ESXi.
4. Fill in the details.
5. Click on Save.
6. Click on the action button of the asset → Manage Linked Accounts → Add New Account.
7. Fill in the details.
8. Click on Save.
