Manually adding a Cisco router account
You can onboard a Cisco router onto Sectona by using asset or account management to control and regulate access to it.
Procedure:
Using Asset Management:
- Login to the system and select PAM from the product navigator.
- Go to Manage → Asset Management.
- Select the blue arrow button corresponding to the Switch router you want to add account to. Select Manage Linked accounts from the drop-down menu.
- Click on Add New Account.
- Fill in the details in the window that appears.
- Tick the Active checkbox.
- Click on Save.
Using Account Management:
- Login to the system and select PAM from the product navigator.
Go to Manage → Accounts → + Add Account.
Set Asset Category → Router.
Set Asset Type → Cisco.
Select the Asset you want to create an account for.
Fill in the details.
- Make sure to toggle Active status slider.
- Click on Save.
