Manually adding a Cisco router account

You can onboard a Cisco router onto Sectona by using asset or account management to control and regulate access to it. 

Procedure:

Using Asset Management:

  1. Login to the system and select PAM from the product navigator.
  2. Go to Manage → Asset Management.
  3. Select the blue arrow button corresponding to the Switch router you want to add account to. Select Manage Linked accounts from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on Add New Account.
  5. Fill in the details in the window that appears.
  6. Tick the Active checkbox.
  7.  Click on Save. 

Using Account Management:

  1. Login to the system and select PAM from the product navigator.
  2. Go to Manage → Accounts → + Add Account.

  3. Set Asset Category → Router.

  4. Set Asset Type → Cisco.

  5. Select the Asset you want to create an account for.

  6. Fill in the details. 

  7. Make sure to toggle Active status slider.
  8.  Click on Save.
