Working with SSHD Proxy Server

SSHD serves as a secure network node that routes the session traffic data. SSH is a remote login shell that helps you to connect remote machines using an encrypted connection. An SSH tunnel consists of an encrypted tunnel created through an SSH protocol connection. An SSH tunnel can be used to transfer unencrypted traffic over a network through an encrypted channel.

Procedure

  1. Login to the system and select PC from the product navigator.
  2. Navigate to System → Landing & Proxy Server.

  3. Go to Add New Proxy Server(s) → SSHD Proxy.

  4. Enter the Server Name.

  5. Select App Server Type as 'SSHD Proxy'.

  6. Fill in the details for Hostname and Port No.

  7. For IP Address, give the value as 0.0.0.0, which specifies an open range of IPs.

  8. Toggle the Active slider.

  9. Click on Save.
