Assigning Tags to assets

Tags are functional labels that automatically group together all the assets with similar tags. You can tag an asset as follows.

Procedure:

1. Go to Platform Configuration → Under the Common Masters column select Tags.
2. Check whether the tag you want to assign already exists in the displayed list. 
3. If not, create a new tag by clicking on the Add Tag button and fill in the name and description. Click on Save.
4. If your tag exists, go back to Manage → Asset Management → select the asset you want to assign the tag and click on the edit icon.
5. In 'Edit Asset' mention the required tag in the Tag field.
6. Click on Update.
