Assigning Tags to assets

Tags are functional labels that automatically group together all the assets with similar tags. You can tag an asset as follows.

Procedure:

Go to Platform Configuration → Under the Common Masters column select Tags.
Check whether the tag you want to assign already exists in the displayed list.
If not, create a new tag by clicking on the Add Tag button and fill in the name and description. Click on Save.
If your tag exists, go back to Manage → Asset Management → select the asset you want to assign the tag and click on the edit icon.
In 'Edit Asset' mention the required tag in the Tag field.
Click on Update.
