The Sectona RNA Proxy solution consists of two components that work together to provide secure connectivity across isolated network zones.
Sectona RNA Proxy Server
The Sectona RNA Proxy Server is the server-side component of the RNA architecture. It can be installed either on the PAM Server or on a dedicated server. Multiple RNA Proxy Server instances can be deployed and configured to provide high availability, load distribution, and failover capabilities.
Sectona RNA Proxy Connector
The Sectona RNA Proxy Connector is the client-side component of the RNA architecture and acts as a client to the RNA Proxy Server. It is designed to be deployed within isolated or protected network zones where inbound connections from the PAM Server or end users are restricted or not permitted.
The RNA Proxy Connector establishes a secure outbound connection to the RNA Proxy Server, enabling controlled communication between PAM components, end users, and target systems without requiring direct inbound access to the protected network. This architecture helps maintain network segmentation while ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
