You can define the maximum number of unsuccessful login attempts a user is allowed to make, after which the target account gets automatically locked. This is termed as Account Lockout Threshold in Sectona. It guards against unauthorized access. Once a user gets locked, only the global administrator or his equivalent can unlock them.
Procedure:
-
Login to the system and select Platform Configuration from the product navigator.
-
Under the Authentication section → Sectona Authentication.
-
Under the 'Sectona Authentication & Lockout Policy' section, define the User Lockout Threshold in terms of attempts.
-
Click on Save.
