Access Endpoints
With Sectona EPM it is easy to access an asset through RDP or VNC for remote support sessions.. After you have logged in to Sectona web console with your username and password, you will see a list of Assets and the corresponding accounts. These are the Accounts that you have been granted access to. You may access your target Assets from this list.
There may be times when a EPM administrator might have to connect to an endpoint remotely to troubleshoot. Sectona EPM gives a provision to connect to endpoints via RDP over Browser (if it's a Windows endpoint). To be able to connect to an asset is possible by mapping Asset groups with certain User Groups. You can then view and connect with an asset from the Workspace page.
Active Mapping
Login to the system and select EPM from the product navigator.
Click on Manage from the navigation bar.
Select Access Entitlement from the sidebar and click on the Active Mapping option.
Click on + Add Active Mapping.
Add the details on the Overview section including Name and Description.
The status of the map is set to Active by default.
Under the Active Mapping section select the User Groups and the Asset group to be connected.
Click on Save.
